Recount Writing-At ShilianeÅ› birthday
WALT use the correct structure and language in my writing.
At ShilaineÅ› birthday.
On Saturday my family and I went to my cousin's birthday in Kaikohe. My cousin was turning 16.
First when we got to their driveway we jumped out of the car and ran to the tramp. The tramp was very bouncy.
We were bouncing up and down. We were going higher and higher. I was doing all kinds of tricks. It was so much fun.
Next the kai was ready and we had hangi and dessert.
For dessert we had cake ice cream and cupcakes. I asked mum if the cupcakes were soft. She said, ¨I don't know try them.¨ The dinner was delicious.
There balloons all over the shed. They looked cool. There was confetti in the balloons. There were lots of people at the birthday. The cake had heaps of chocolate and kit-kats.
Shilaine looked beautiful. She had a lovely dress and make-up on. ShilaineÅ› family had lots of photos but Shilaine didn´t really want to be in the photos.
After that it was getting dark so we went home.
It was an awesome day.
