The water cycle

The water cycle is the way water travels around the earth in a circle that never ends.

Without the water cycle there will be no life on earth. Evaporation is when liquid water is on the ground. The sun heats the liquid water and turns the liquid into water vapor and then the water vapor flies into the clouds. From the clouds the water vapour turns back into liquid water and falls back to earth. Liquid water is stored in lakes, oceans and creeks.

Why is the water cycle important to our Earth?

The water cycle is important to our earth because Earth needs water so there are lives on earth.

If we had no water cycle lakes, rivers and oceans would dry up. There would be no water to evaporate so then there will be no rain. As a result of no rain, plants wouldn't be able to grow. Nothing will be on earth except dirt and sand and the earth will die.

So that's why the water cycle is so important to our earth.

 In the holidays

On Saturday morning my family and I went to Parakai pools. First I grabbed my towel. I had a sequins  towel. I thought everyone would like it. So we raced to the car. l fell asleep in the car. When I woke up I saw a big slide. So we ran into the pool. We forgot to put on our wristbands on. So we had to run back to the front of the line. The lady put my brothers wristband on his wrist. I didn't get a wristband because I was too old.Then we ran back to the pool. I  did a manu. I was on the big slide. My brothers weren't allowed to slide on that slide because they were too young. It was only 8 years old and up. I told my brothers they weren't allowed but they still didn't listen. They ran straight past the lifeguard then I went down the slide. I got butterflies because the slide was very fast. It was getting dark so we had to go home. I felt awesome.

 In Manukau at my Aunty's birthday

On Saturday morning my family and I drove to Manukau. We were driving to my aunty’s 21st  birthday. Her 21st wasn't till the afternoon so we waited at my uncle's house.

I saw my cousin. I walked inside. I saw glue on the table and when I walked in to the kitchen I saw some activator.

I asked my uncle if me and me and my cousin could make slime. My uncle said, “Only if there is enough glue.” 

We had two bottles of glue full so he said, “Yes.”

Then we had to go to my aunt’s 21st.

We sped off. We drove to my aunt's mum's house. We went inside and shouted, “WOW!!”  “There is the birthday girl,” I yelled out loudly.

She looked so pretty.

Two minutes later my papa and nana arrived. I ran out to my papa and nana and gave them a big hug because I hadn't seen them for nearly 2 weeks. The adults said we 

had to go. I yelled, “I’m going with my papa and nana.” We drove off. We beat my mum, dad and my two twin brothers. I said, “Haha.” They laughed at me then we all started laughing. It was funny because I sounded sarcastic. First we waited outside. My papa was having a smoke. My nana said, “I'm going inside.” I said, “I’m coming with you.” I was so excited to see the cake.  

Next everyone came inside. After that we sang happy birthday. My aunty's Jaid and Paris did a haka. I joined.l was exezoseded I was tiered I had a great day.
